Ship Design Engineers

  • Provide engineering support to Ship Design Manager
  • Develop, review, comment/modify, as necessary, ship specifications and drawings to resolve construction technical issues
  • Liaise between SDM, NAVSEA PM, shipbuilder, SUPSHIP, and applicable OEMs to resolve system technical clarifications
  • Liaise with Navy and DoD personnel

Senior Ship Design Engineers must have a BS in an engineering related field AND a minimum 10 years' relevant experience OR a MS in an engineering related field and seven (7) years experience

Mid-Level Ship Design Engineers must have a BS in an engineering related field AND a minimum three (3) years' relevant experience.

Junior Ship Design Engineers must have a BS in an engineering related field.

Acquisition Analyst SME

  • Apply your expert knowledge of DoD 5000, Operation of the Defense Acquisition System, and the associated statutory and regulatory requirements of ACAT I programs
  • Provide acquisition subject matter expertise to the Program Manager (PM), Deputy Program Manager (DPM), or Principal Acquisition Program Manager (PAPM) as requested
  • Analyze, assess, and develop input to DoD Acquisition documents, White Papers, and briefing material being prepared for Defense Acquisition Boards (DAB), Major Decision Reviews, and Gate Reviews
  • Liaise with senior Navy and DoD personnel

Applicants must have at least a BS and five years of relevant experience. Strong preference will be given to those possessing 10 or more years' professional experience supporting an ACAT I shipbuilding program with a demonstrated proficiency and knowledge of the complex requirements, Milestone documentation, and technical analyses.

Waterfront Engineer

  • Provide eon-site waterfront engineering support to a NAVSEA shipbuilding program
  • Perform ship checks and reference ship specifications/drawings to resolve construction technical issues
  • Liaise between NAVSEA PM, shipbuilder, SUPSHIP, and applicable vendors/AITs to coordinate construction and/or system installation technical clarifications
  • Develop weekly reports (SITREPs, Metrics) on production engineering issues, corrective actions, physical progress, shipyard performance, etc.

Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum three (3) years' relevant experience.

Project Engineer

  • Complete long-term engineering projects
  • Perform engineering design evaluations and work to complete projects within budget and scheduling restraints
  • Develop, implement, and monitor policies and controls to ensure data accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance
  • Review reports, production, malfunction, and maintenance to determine and address problems

Applicants must have a Master's degree and 3-5 years of related experience OR bachelor's degree and 5-10 years of related experience.
